You can use skate wax on a lot of different places. Just wipe away any debris and rub some wax on the part you want to skate. If you have never used wax before, its best to start off with just a little bit to get the feel for it. To much wax can get slippery quick.

Don’t forget to wax your board as well. Spread the wax lightly on wear marks on your deck, like the nose and tail area or in the middle of the deck. You can also rub some wax on your trucks to make grinds easier and also under the wheels to help reduce wheel bite.

There are many different areas and places that you can use skateboard wax to make skateable. Ledges are simpler to skate than rails where there is only one edge to adjust to. Also, you can’t fall over the opposite side, in case you end up missing the ledge.

Rails are common to find in most skate parks. They can be different heights and lengths, and they can also be round or square. You can do all types of grinds and slides on rails, although they are narrow and are harder to balance on compared to curbs.

Benches are an obstacle that can be used for many different tricks. Skaters can use the edges of the bench to practice grinds, slides, and even stalls. Also, skaters can take their flat ground tricks to the next level with adding some height.
